Caving   

Breathtaking formations, large chambers, tight crawlways, and total darkness await those who wish to explore South Dakota's caves.  Some of the world's premier caves are found here, and there is great potential for even more to be discovered. 

If you're interested in caving and don't know where to start, you've come to the right place.  The Paha Sapa Grotto is a local chapter of the National Speleological Society, and is dedicated to the study, conservation, and enjoyment of caves.  Through grotto activities, you can learn to cave safely and responsibly.
