Profile: Darren Genzlinger

I love to explore anything new. I find all the underground rock formations so amazing, and I want to learn.
I'd love to check out as many caves as is possible.
My grandkids are showing interest in spending time with me, going into caves, and it drives me to keep going. They are nervous but excited. I'll do anything for my grandkids. I hope to get them to into the grotto membership also.
Chris has shown me how to rappel and ascend a rope and I hope to learn more about doing that in caves.
I enjoy working in caves doing anything to help. Like helping break into new areas.
I'm also excited to help survey new areas. I'd like to learn about LIDAR and cartography.
I don't mind doing some traveling. I have a job that allows for me to sneak off a day here and there.
I'm just happy to be a part of this group.
